LUSAIL STADIUM – (MD’s Experience)
The 80,000-seat Lusail Stadium will embody Qatar’s ambition and its passion for sharing Arab culture with the world. It is here that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ final will be staged, with billions around the globe watching on. The design of this magnificent stadium is inspired by the interplay of light and shadow that characterizes the fanar lantern. Its shape and façade echo the intricate decorative motifs on bowls, vessels and other art pieces found across the Arab and Islamic world during the rise of civilization in the region.
